BINI, the eight-member girl group, has received its first nomination for Best Asia Act at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).
The nomination was announced by MTV on October 8 and confirmed on BINI’s social media channels, celebrating their recognition with a post featuring the Philippine flag.
They will compete against notable acts, including K-pop group ILLIT and Indonesian singer Mahalini, with the winner determined by fan votes by November 6.
The past year has been significant for BINI, marking their rise in the music industry with several nominations at various award shows and a spot on the Grammys’ “12 Rising Girl Groups to Know Now” list.
The 2024 MTV EMAs will take place on November 10 at Co-op Live in Manchester, United Kingdom.
