The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is searching for a motorist who fled the scene of a road incident in Taguig after being pursued by MMDA traffic enforcers.
Videos shared by the agency show an enforcer climbing onto the hood of the red Hyundai Stargazer as it sped away, while other enforcers attempted to stop the vehicle.
Despite the efforts of traffic officers, the motorist continued to drive away, with footage from a motorcycle rider capturing the chase.
MMDA Assistant General Manager for Operations David Angelo Vargas confirmed the incident occurred on Tuesday.
The agency plans to file charges against the driver and recommend the cancellation of his license to the Land Transportation Office.
