MMDA ANNOUNCES ROAD CLOSURES AROUND RIZAL PARK FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced road closures around Rizal Park in Manila on June 12 in line with the 128th Independence Day celebration. 

Roxas Boulevard from Buendia Avenue to P. Burgos Drive will be closed in both directions from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m., along with several nearby roads,s including Bonifacio Drive, T.M. Kalaw, and parts of P. Burgos Drive. 

Additional six-hour closures will also cover key routes such as Roxas Boulevard to Anda Circle to accommodate festivities. 

The MMDA advised motorists to use alternative routes to avoid congestion and delays. 

 Authorities are preparing traffic management measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the national celebration.
