Michelle Arceo, the Philippine representative at the 32nd edition of Reina Hispanoamericana, secured the 2nd runner-up title in the prestigious pageant.
Ms. Grand Philippines announced the achievement on Instagram, expressing pride in Arceo’s representation of the nation and gratitude for raising the Philippine flag high.
Peru’s Maricielo Gamarra clinched the crown, with Arceo emerging as a formidable contender throughout the competition, notably with her striking Waling-Waling National Costume.
Arceo previously distinguished herself in the Miss Environment International pageant, where she earned the titles of Miss Ecosystem and Best in Environmental Video in 2022.
Competing in Bolivia, Arceo showcased Filipino beauty and grace on the international stage. Brazil claimed the first runner-up title, while Curacao and Colombia secured third and fourth runner-up positions, respectively.
The Philippines’ sole victory in the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant came in 2017, with Winwyn Marquez as the country’s representative.
