Metro Pacific Agro Ventures (MPAV), a unit of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, is exploring new ventures in the chicken egg and carabao milk industries while continuing to expand its dairy and vegetable capacities.
MPAV President Juan Victor Hernandez emphasized the company’s interest in entering the protein segment, with eggs and carabao milk being particularly attractive options.
The company aims to be self-sufficient in milk supply by 2026, following its acquisition of Universal Harvester Dairy Farms Inc. and the expansion of its dairy facilities in Laguna and Bukidnon.
Additionally, MPAV is working on a greenhouse project in Bulacan, set to produce 800 metric tons of vegetables annually by 2025.
These initiatives align with MPAV’s strategy to diversify and strengthen its agricultural portfolio.
