Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano visited Narita, Japan, to strengthen their sister city partnership and promote cooperation in multiple areas.
She was warmly welcomed by Narita’s city officials, including Mayor Kazunari Koizum and Vice Mayors Yoichi Miyata and Shinji Fukushima.
Discussions focused on cultural exchanges, educational opportunities, economic and trade cooperation, governance, and people-to-people diplomacy.
They explored student and teacher exchange programs, business partnerships, joint ventures, and shared best practices in urban planning and disaster management.
Mayor Rubiano said the visit underscores Pasay’s commitment to enhancing international relations and launching innovative projects for the benefit of its residents.
