President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced the launch of a comprehensive performance review of his Cabinet as his administration enters its second half, aiming to identify and address inefficiencies and corruption.
In the inaugural episode of his “BBM Podcast,” he stressed the importance of diagnosing why government services are slow and finding ways to speed up delivery.
Marcos warned that the review could result in firings or legal actions against underperforming officials.
He also noted that previous removals have been carried out quietly whenever validated reports of misconduct emerged.
The exercise underscores the President’s commitment to stronger accountability and more efficient governance.
