The newly formed Pilipino Tayo Movement (PTM) has called on President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to clarify his stance on Charter change (Cha-cha) and federalism ahead of his upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA).
PTM lead convenor Greco Belgica emphasized the importance of transparency from the President, particularly regarding his party’s advocacy for federalism, despite the silence on the matter so far.
Belgica highlighted that national unity, a core advocacy of Marcos, could potentially be realized through federalism, urging the President to address this crucial issue in his SONA to provide clarity to the public and allied political groups.
