President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has set a goal to ensure that every Filipino family has at least one college or TESDA graduate by the end of his term in 2028.
He emphasized the importance of education as a key to helping Filipinos compete in the labor market and benefit from the country’s development.
Marcos called human capital the Philippines’ greatest resource, highlighting that improving education will lead to national success.
In his recent State of the Nation Address, he also pledged to build 40,000 new classrooms to address the lack of educational facilities.
The president assured teachers that their success will be measured by how much they inspire and improve their students, not just by passing rates.
