Three Malaysian nationals claiming affiliation with the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) were barred from entry at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and sent back to Malaysia on August 28.
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) identified the individuals as Jessica Lynn Henry, Mimielianna Annie Anak Leesoi, and Andrijosebaul Anak Garra, who arrived on August 27 and were found to have intended to join anti-government protests related to the manhunt for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco stated that foreigners involved in domestic political issues can be expelled for violating immigration laws.
The Malaysians also failed to prove their financial capacity to support their stay. They have been blacklisted and banned from re-entering the country.
