Award-winning actress and singer Lea Salonga will be the first Filipina to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026.
She joins 34 other global stars, including Miley Cyrus and Timothée Chalamet, as part of the Walk of Fame’s Class of 2026.
Salonga is the sole honoree in the Live Theatre/Live Performance category and was nominated by the Manila International Film Festival.
Known for her Tony-winning role in Miss Saigon and as the singing voice of Disney’s Jasmine and Mulan, she has received numerous honors, including the Presidential Medal of Merit.
The Walk of Fame committee praised her contributions to entertainment and cultural pride, with ceremonies to be scheduled within two years.
