Lazaro emphasized the importance of a united ASEAN in fostering regional peace, security, and prosperity.
The two officials also held candid talks on pressing regional and international issues, including the situation in Myanmar and the Thailand-Cambodia border.
The meeting reflects the Philippines’ commitment to active engagement with ASEAN partners under its chairmanship.
