LA SALLE EYES FINAL FOUR BERTH AS ATENEO AND FEU FIGHT TO SURVIVE

La Salle aims to secure an outright Final Four berth in UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball, while Ateneo and Far Eastern University fight to stay alive for the last semifinals spot at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The double-header, rescheduled due to Super Typhoon Uwan, kicks off with FEU facing the third-seeded Santo Tomas Growling Tigers at 2 p.m., followed by the archrival clash between La Salle and Ateneo at 4:30 p.m.

La Salle holds the advantage, needing a win to clinch the fourth seed at 8-6, though it will be without EJ Gollena due to suspension.

Ateneo and FEU must win their respective games to remain in contention, with Ateneo hoping to force a tie and FEU aiming to create a three-way deadlock.

The outcomes will set the stage for the Final Four matchups, with NU and UP holding twice-to-beat incentives.
