KOREAN STAR PRAISES FILIPINO CUISINE IN UPCOMING SHOW

Korean actor Ji Chang-wook is winning over Filipino fans as he joins the upcoming food variety show Kumusta, alongside Jodi Sta. Maria, Janella Salvador, Francine Diaz, Arci Muñoz, and Chef JP Anglo.

The show features Filipino celebrities cooking local dishes for Korean guests, with Chang-wook helping serve and promoting cultural connections through food.

Speaking through a translator, he expressed admiration for Filipino cuisine and likened the warm, human-focused experience in the restaurant to similar bonds in Korea.

The actor also humorously admitted he avoided the kitchen, preferring to assist with service rather than risk “troubling” the chefs.

Kumusta is set to premiere on the Viu app in the Philippines on May 24, promising a heartwarming, cross-cultural culinary experience.
