Joy Belmonte was awarded the 2026 Exemplar City Mayor Award in recognition of her leadership, transparency, and commitment to sustainable human development.
The award was conferred by the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry Inc. and the Angelo King Foundation Inc. for third-term mayors demonstrating “holistic public service.”
It highlights achievements in integrity, fiscal governance, business competitiveness, and human development.
The award was given during the FFCCCII and Filipino-Chinese community celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day and the 25th Filipino-Chinese Friendship Day.
The selection was made by a panel of judges composed of prominent leaders from finance, business, and civic organizations.
