Joanie Delgaco, the first female Filipino rower to compete in the Olympics, is focused on pushing her limits as she prepares for two major events in 2025: the World Rowing Championships in Shanghai and the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand.
Ranked second in Asia and 20th in the world, Delgaco has consistently improved her performance, earning silver and bronze medals in previous SEA Games.
With rowing’s return to the SEA Games, she hopes to further elevate her success and contribute to the growth of the Philippine rowing team.
