The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) and Japan Volleyball Association (JVA) have committed to furthering their partnership to promote volleyball in Asia.
The collaboration was marked by the turnover of volleyball supplies from JVA, led by Japan Minister Takahiro Hanada, at the new PNVF office in Taguig City.
Hanada emphasized the importance of the equipment in supporting the Philippines’ growing volleyball scene, with hopes that it will inspire young Filipinos.
PNVF president Ramon “Tats” Suzara expressed gratitude, noting that the supplies would help discover talent and grow the sport’s popularity, especially ahead of the 2025 Men’s Volleyball World Championship.
Both parties also discussed expanding cooperation through coaching and national team training camps, solidifying their relationship for the future of Asian volleyball.
