Starting June 8, Indian tourists can enter the Philippines visa-free for a non-extendible 14-day period to boost tourism, the Department of Foreign Affairs announced.
Visitors must present a passport valid for at least six months beyond their stay, confirmed hotel bookings, proof of funds, and a return or onward ticket.
Indian nationals holding valid visas or residence permits from certain countries can stay visa-free for up to 30 days.
The visa-free privilege applies only to tourism and is not convertible to other visa types or for long-term stays.
Those entering for non-tourism purposes or transit must still secure appropriate visas from Philippine embassies or consulates.
