HOUSE SHIFTS TO WORK-FROM-HOME AMID HEAVY RAINS

The House of Representatives canceled its scheduled plenary session on Tuesday, August 18, due to prevailing inclement weather conditions.

House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil announced the cancellation through a memorandum issued under the authority of Speaker Faustino Dy 3rd.

Secretariat officials and employees were placed under a work-from-home arrangement, while committee meetings may still proceed online at the discretion of their chairpersons.

Scheduled budget briefings were also postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

Only personnel required for essential and critical operations were instructed to report physically to work.
