Police have uncovered secret passageways, explosives, and weapons inside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KoJC) compound in Davao City as they search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. revealed videos showing complex structures and at least 42 buildings on the 30-hectare estate, including hidden rooms and ongoing construction.
Homemade firebombs and machetes were found on the roof deck, and electrified barbed wire was installed around the compound.
Quiboloy’s supporters have been accused of targeting police helicopters with lasers and obstructing the search.
The Philippine National Police condemned these actions and warned against impeding the investigation into allegations of child sexual abuse and human trafficking involving Quiboloy.
