The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has released PHP413.4 billion in loans, benefiting over 1.9 million public servants through its Ginhawa Flex and Ginhawa Lite programs.
Since its launch in September 2023, the Ginhawa Flex loan disbursed PHP401.19 billion to more than 1.4 million members, offering loans up to PHP5 million payable over 15 years.
The Ginhawa Lite program, started in October 2024, provided PHP12.247 billion in smaller emergency loans to over 400,000 borrowers.
GSIS also streamlined its Ginhawa Max Loan Buyout process and expanded housing programs, helping thousands of families and protecting over 130,000 public school buildings.
The agency recognized several government offices for settling overdue social insurance premiums, underscoring its commitment to member support and sustainability.
