Actress Gee Canlas has spoken about her troubled marriage to actor Archie Alemania, days after he shared his side of their separation.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Canlas alleged that Alemania physically abused her on several occasions, including an incident involving a tumbler and another that left her with two fractured ribs.
She said she kept the incidents from her family at the time to protect Alemania and preserve their marriage.
Canlas said these experiences contributed to her decision to leave the relationship.
The couple married in October 2018 and confirmed their separation in March.
