The Pasig River Esplanade is set to reopen on January 27 after a brief delay to complete site enhancements, First Lady Liza Marcos announced.
She said workers are finalizing the walkway and wooden kiosks for vendors to replace makeshift tents.
The reopening was postponed despite plans for President Marcos to lead the turnover of kiosks.
The esplanade, temporarily closed since January 5, is part of the Pasig River Urban Development Project, now in its fourth phase.
The 530-meter stretch links the Manila Central Post Office to Arroceros Forest Park, continuing the revitalization efforts started under previous phases.
