Filipina actress Andrea Brillantes made a dazzling debut at #16 on the “100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2023” list by TC Candler and the Independent Critics.
This marks the first appearance for several other Filipino stars, including P-pop idols Ken (#34) and Josh Cullen (#71) of SB19, and HORI7ON’s Kyler (#27) and Reyster (#58). Actress Belle Mariano also joined the ranks at #71.
While Liza Soberano, who once topped the list in 2017, landed at #28 this year, Janine Gutierrez (#45) and Ivana Alawi (#21) maintained their presence. Brillantes, however, shines as the sole Filipina in the coveted Top 20.
Globally, K-pop artist Nancy McDonie takes the #1 spot on the “Most Beautiful Faces” list, followed by Russian model Dasha Taran and TWICE’s Sana. Meanwhile, “Wonka” star Timothée Chalamet claims the #1 title for “Most Handsome Faces,” with Henry Cavill and Ni-ki of ENHYPEN trailing behind.
This year’s list celebrates a diverse range of talents, with Filipino stars once again making a strong showing. Brillantes’ debut in the Top 20 and the inclusion of P-pop idols showcase the growing global recognition of Filipino beauty and talent.
