Filipina fighter Islay Erika Bomogao celebrated her ONE Championship debut with a unanimous decision win against Japanese fighter Fuu in Bangkok. Showcasing a range of new techniques, including hook and back kicks, Bomogao impressed by going beyond typical Muay Thai moves. She expressed satisfaction with her performance but acknowledged a need to improve her head movement and combination punches. Filipino fighters Jackie Buntan and Fritz Biagtan also secured wins in their respective matches, with Buntan winning the ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Title. However, Danny Kingad suffered a defeat against Adriano Moraes, ending the event with mixed results for Filipino fighters.
