Far Eastern University (FEU) opened its 2025 V-League Collegiate Challenge campaign with a straight-set 25-15, 25-22, 25-21 win over Mapua University at Paco Arena.
Congolese opposite Faida Bakanke led FEU with 12 points, including six attacks, three blocks, and three aces.
FEU captain Christine Ubaldo emphasized the team’s focus on improvement rather than just winning.
Mapua’s top scorer was captain Alyanna Ong, who finished with eight points.
FEU will next face Adamson University, while Mapua aims to recover against the University of Perpetual Help.
