The House of Representatives’ quad committee has detained former Mexico, Pampanga mayor Teddy Tumang for contempt after he gave inconsistent answers during an inquiry. Tumang, under investigation for alleged links to Chinese nationals involved in drug trafficking, was accused of evading questions regarding his connections with Empire 999 incorporators. The committee also exposed a network linking Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) to criminal activities.
