Singer Elha Nympha has withdrawn from “Inday: The Musical” just one day before its scheduled opening, Studio A Productions announced.
In a statement posted on Instagram, the production company said it respects Nympha’s decision to step away from the show.
Studio A Productions said its creative team is making the necessary adjustments while remaining committed to opening the musical as scheduled.
The production, which was set to run this October at RCBC Plaza in Makati City, features songs by the Boyfriends and explores themes of love, family, and memories.
Nympha rose to fame after winning the second season of “The Voice Kids” in 2015 under coach Bamboo Mañalac.
