DPWH Undersecretary for Regional Operations Roberto R. Bernardo denied corruption allegations and claims of dismissal, calling them “malicious and completely false.”
He clarified that he is currently on medical leave for a spinal condition, not under suspension, with full approval and documentation.
Official certification from the DPWH Legal Service confirmed that Bernardo has no pending administrative case.
DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan also affirmed that no disciplinary action has been filed against Bernardo.
Bernardo’s legal team plans to file cyber libel charges against those spreading false information, urging the public to verify news through official channels.
