Science Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. was the highest-paid Cabinet member of President Marcos in 2025, earning a total net pay of P6.66 million, according to a Commission on Audit report.
His compensation included salary, allowances, bonuses, and other benefits, all from his position as Department of Science and Technology (DOST) secretary.
Former Justice Secretary and now Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla ranked second with P5.97 million, followed by Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma with P5.96 million.
Social Welfare Secretary Rex Gatchalian and TESDA Secretary Jose Francisco Benitez completed the top five highest earners.
Other Cabinet officials, including Agriculture, Health, Agrarian Reform, Defense, and National Security heads, also posted multi-million peso net pay in 2025.
