DIONELA OPENS UP ABOUT HIS WEDDING THROUGH ‘MONDAY AFTERNOON’

Singer-songwriter Dionela has released “Monday Afternoon,” a deeply personal track inspired by his love story and journey as a newlywed.

The song comes more than a year after he collaborated with Loonie on “Ikigai” and shifts from his usual rap-infused style to themes of love, devotion, and commitment.

Dionela proposed to his longtime partner Mendoza during his “The Grace” concert in November 2025, before the couple exchanged vows in an intimate garden ceremony in March.

The song was created around the milestone and reflects the next chapter of their relationship, which has also inspired tracks such as “Marilag,” “Bahaghari,” and “Oksihina.”

“Monday Afternoon” is now available on major digital streaming platforms.
