Dermorepubliq, a TikTok Philippines science-based skincare brand, won Gold at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards for its viral PR and billboard campaign titled “The breakup that went viral by Dermorepubliq.”
The campaign stood out in the “Use of Viral Media or Word of Mouth” category for its stealth marketing approach, which used a cryptic unbranded billboard to spark nationwide curiosity before revealing its skincare message.
Through a two-phase PR strategy handled by Uniquecorn Strategies, the campaign generated massive online engagement, including over 200 million reach, 100 million video views, and 93 earned media stories.
Dermorepubliq said the campaign helped elevate the brand from a digital-first startup to a mainstream retail player, with products now available in Watsons, as well as major e-commerce platforms.
The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards recognized the initiative for its innovation and impact, with Dermorepubliq competing alongside major Philippine conglomerates.
