The Commission on Elections reminded the public that voter registration for the upcoming barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections ends today.
The poll body said applications submitted before the deadline will still be processed and reviewed by the Election Registration Board, with the final hearing set for June 1.
Eligible Filipinos may register at local election offices, satellite sites, and mall registration centers.
Comelec also reiterated the valid identification cards accepted for registration and clarified that community tax certificates and police clearances are not allowed.
Processing and issuance of voters’ certificates in local election offices were temporarily suspended today to accommodate the final day of voter registration.
