CREAMLINE, PLDT EYE SECOND VICTORY IN SHOWDOWN

PLDT and Creamline aim to build on their strong starts as they face Cignal and Chery Tiggo, respectively, in the Premier Volleyball League Invitational at PhilSports Arena.

PLDT dominated Cignal in a straight-set win, while Creamline needed five sets to edge out Cignal HD Spikers in their opening matches.

PLDT will lean on rookie Alleiah Malaluan, who scored a match-high 11 points in her debut.

Creamline’s experienced trio—Michele Gumabao, Jema Galanza, and Alyssa Valdez—led their team to victory, with Gumabao scoring 22 points.

The day’s action begins with a match between the Japanese guest team Kobe Shinwa University and ZUS Coffee at 1:30 p.m.
