The Commission on Elections (Comelec) officially proclaimed the 12 winning senators of the May 12, 2025, midterm elections on Saturday, just five days after voting.
The ceremony was led by Comelec Chair George Garcia at The Manila Hotel Tent City, where each senator-elect received their Certificate of Proclamation.
Incumbent Senator Bong Go led the winners with over 27 million votes, while reelectionist Imee Marcos secured the 12th spot and pledged to focus on food security, job creation, and social assistance.
Other notable senators proclaimed include Lito Lapid, Camille Villar, Pia Cayetano, and Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, with several emphasizing unity and transparency in the upcoming 20th Congress.
The new senators will officially assume office on June 30 and serve until 2031.
