Carmona City launched the SOS BML Community App on Aug. 28 to improve incident reporting and speed up emergency response.
Residents can use the app to report fires, crimes, accidents, disasters, and other emergencies.
It also allows reports on garbage, road obstructions, fallen utility posts, disturbances, and concerns involving senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Mayor Dahlia Loyola said the app will help residents take an active role in building a safe and resilient community.
The app also provides city updates on weather and traffic, as well as a lost-and-found feature.
