Bohol Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado, in his second term, vowed to focus on agriculture, food security, livelihood development, and attracting investments to make the province more self-reliant and resilient.
He highlighted strategies to boost the local economy through increased output, enterprise growth, and improved access to essential goods and services like food, housing, education, and healthcare.
Aumentado also emphasized maximizing the Bohol-Panglao International Airport to drive tourism and investment.
He aims to strengthen Bohol’s identity as a UNESCO Global Geopark and promote regenerative tourism focused on environmental preservation and community involvement. |
Under his leadership since 2022, Bohol’s poverty incidence fell significantly from 19.1 percent in 2021 to 14.8 percent in 2024.
