The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) has secured a P379.48-million grant from the Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. to build a modern warfare laboratory as part of efforts to support the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ modernization.
The project includes the demolition of the old PMA Hospital and the construction of a two-story facility equipped with advanced defense technologies and military training capabilities.
Demolition is expected to begin in the coming weeks, with the new laboratory targeted for completion by the fourth quarter of 2027.
The initiative is backed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) in line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen the military.
Bloomberry officials also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting PMA through the project.
