A fire broke out in a residential area in Parola, Gate 46, Delpan, Binondo, Manila, on Saturday, May 23, prompting authorities to raise the alarm to the third level.
The blaze quickly escalated from first alarm at 3:04 p.m. to third alarm by 3:10 p.m.
Firefighters responded immediately to contain the fire as thick smoke spread across the affected community.
Residents called for urgent assistance while emergency operations continued in the area.
Authorities have yet to report any casualties, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
