The Bureau of Immigration (BI) announced it will hire additional officers ahead of the Christmas and New Year travel rush.
BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said the move aims to handle the expected surge in departures and international arrivals.
Recruits will undergo intensive training on immigration laws, document inspection, and national security before being deployed to airports and other ports of entry.
The additional personnel are intended to improve efficiency and reduce processing times during the peak holiday season.
Interested applicants can apply through the BI’s online career portal.
