A recent survey conducted by the University of Santo Tomas (UST) revealed that senatorial aspirants Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan topped the poll, receiving 83.42% and 79.58% of the votes, respectively.
Former Commission on Audit Commissioner Heidi Mendoza followed with 60.70%, while Partido Lakas ng Masa candidates Leody de Guzman and Luke Espiritu secured 44.77% and 56.94%.
The 6th to 12th spots in the survey were dominated by candidates from the Makabayan bloc, with Teddy Casiño, Arlene Brosas, and Danilo Ramos among the top contenders.
The survey, conducted from April 28 to May 7, involved 1,224 randomly selected students with a margin of error of ±3%.
The 2025 midterm elections, in which approximately 68.43 million Filipinos, including 24 million youth voters, are expected to participate, will be held on May 12.
