The 55th season of the Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) kicks off on Saturday with 16 schools, including returning members University of Makati and the University of Santo Tomas-Angelicum College.
The season launch, held at Assumption Antipolo, will feature competitions in basketball, volleyball, futsal, chess, and more, with the opening ceremonies starting at 10 a.m. and volleyball at 1 p.m.
The theme for this year’s season is “Championing and Empowering Women in Sports.”
Basketball games will begin on Sunday at Chiang Kai Shek College, while futsal starts on September 22.
The street dance competition is scheduled for December, with other events set for early 2025.
