The NBA has announced that the game between the Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks, scheduled for Friday night, has been postponed following the death of Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojević.
Milojević, who was 46 years old, passed away in Utah after suffering a heart attack.
He was a mentor to two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokić and played a significant role in the Warriors’ 2022 NBA championship win.
The rescheduled date for the game will be announced at a later time. This is the second game the Warriors have postponed this week, with their matchup against the Utah Jazz also being postponed.
