The latest Pahayag national survey showed strong Filipino voter support for both economic relief measures and governance reforms, particularly on tax reduction and greater transparency in public spending.
About 88 percent of respondents backed proposals such as lowering VAT and improving fiscal relief, while the same share supported calls to disclose findings on alleged flood control anomalies.
The survey also found strong public demand for accountability, with majorities supporting political dynasty restrictions, improved law enforcement performance, and institutional reforms.
Additionally, respondents favored declaring Feb. 25 as a regular holiday and supported emergency powers for the President to address rising oil prices.
Conducted from March 21 to 24, 2026, the poll reflects broad public concern over inflation, governance integrity, and institutional transparency.
