The Jonvic Remulla clarified that he will not personally arrest former presidential spokesman Harry Roque in Austria, stressing that any enforcement action must go through proper legal and international coordination.
Remulla said Philippine authorities will work with foreign counterparts, noting that Roque’s passport has been canceled, but no Interpol red notice has yet been issued.
He emphasized that he has no authority to carry out arrests abroad and will strictly follow mandated legal procedures.
Roque, who faces a qualified human trafficking case linked to a POGO hub, rejected the possibility of arrest and challenged authorities to attempt action overseas.
Remulla added that personal ties with Roque will not affect his official duties in pursuing lawful enforcement measures.
