The group resurfaced a 2019 interview discussing the song ahead of their performance at the Southeast Asian Games closing ceremony.
“Bebot,” from their album Monkey Business, celebrates Filipino culture and has become an anthem for Filipino communities worldwide.
Members of the group, including will.i.am and Taboo shared stories of global audiences chanting “Filipino!” and other artists recognizing the song.
