Displaced residents received modular tents at the Karuhatan West Elementary School evacuation center for temporary shelter.
The blaze started at a residential-commercial building in Arty Subdivision, Barangay Marulas, around 1:58 p.m. and was fully extinguished by 7:03 p.m.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire, while the number of affected families and the extent of damage remain undetermined.
