Local government units in Valenzuela and Mandaluyong have started distributing Christmas gift packs to residents as part of their annual holiday outreach programs.
The gift packs, which include food items and essentials, aim to bring holiday cheer to families in need.
Both cities have prioritized vulnerable sectors such as senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and low-income families in their distribution efforts.
Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian and Mandaluyong City Mayor Benjamin Abalos Jr. led the events, expressing their commitment to uplifting the spirit of Christmas amid challenging times.
The initiative is expected to continue throughout the month, reaching thousands of households across both cities.
