The National University (NU) women’s volleyball team is off to an impressive start in the UAAP Season 87, with two straight-set victories, including one over archrival La Salle.
The team’s success has been attributed to the coaching style of Sherwin Meneses, who has simplified the game for the Lady Bulldogs.
Players like Bella Belen and Lamina credit Meneses’ approach for giving them more confidence and a clearer path to success.
The Lady Bulldogs recently triumphed over Ateneo with a dominant 3-0 victory, building on their earlier win against La Salle.
Meneses, who previously coached top playmakers, is focused on continuing to develop his players, including Alyssa Solomon, who has been a consistent top scorer.
