He disputed claims by PBA party-list Rep. Margarita “Migs” Nograles that DSWD funds were available, emphasizing that the issue was about DSWD’s refusal to release the funds rather than lack of funds.
Nograles responded, urging residents not to be swayed by misinformation, citing ongoing DSWD assistance programs.
The spat highlights longstanding political tensions between the Duterte and Nograles families in Davao, known for their rivalries despite occasional political alliances.
